Most portable external hard drives are 5200 RPM however once again with recent technological advances the industry has been introducing 7200 RPM external hard drives, and even better is that they are becoming quieter as well. Faster and quieter is always a plus.
I want to share with you my opinion on two brands of external hard drives, Seagate portable external hard drive and Western Digital external hard drives as I have used them both and have found them to be quite reliable and not to damaging on the pockets ( Literally and Figuratively), and also a look at Firewire external hard drives and why i think they are pretty handy to have.
